Scaime -AVX, stainless steel load cell, watertight, and very high performance

SCAIME, the specialist in industrial weighing, is launching the AVX single point load cell, designed for the construction of scales and packaging machines in the agri-food, chemical or pharmaceutical industries.

Offering weighing capacities of 15 kg to 75 kg, the AVX is distinguished by its very high precision and its ability to operate in the most difficult environments. Constructed entirely from stainless steel and hermetically sealed, the AVX cell provides the highest level of environmental protection, IP68/IP69K, enabling its use in a corrosive environment or conditions requiring frequent high-pressure washing.

Whereas most load cells on the market with this level of protection have to make do with reduced precision, this is not the case with the AVX.

Thanks to its new measuring principle, it manages to combine perfect watertightness with a precision level of 6000 divisions, certified according to OIML requirements for commercial weighing applications.

Therefore, with this innovatively designed sensor, SCAIME is able to meet the growing demand among manufacturers of packing and packaging machinery for high quality load cells offering extreme precision and resistance to the most hostile environments.

The hygienic design of the AVS is certified by the EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group), an association devoted to the advancement of hygienic design in food industry equipment.
This design ensures its cleanability: Its construction without any horizontal flat surfaces or sharp corners ensures that the Clean in Place (CIP) or Sterilisation in Place (SIP) process will eliminate all contamination by microorganisms.
The two special watertight seals made from FKM Viton® are part of the EHEDG certification and come as standard with the AVS sensor.
