Red Lion NT-5000 switches are certified by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), one of the world’s most recognised bodies in the maritime and offshore industry.
ABS certification ensures that this equipment meets the technical and safety standards required to operate in demanding marine environments, such as ships, oil rigs, port terminals and other maritime infrastructure.
In addition, Red Lion has indicated that DNV (Det Norske Veritas) certification for the NT-5000 series is currently in process. This certification, widely recognised in the international maritime industry, will further strengthen the NT-5000’s presence in offshore and marine applications once obtained.
With this certification, Red Lion’s NT-5000 switches not only offer robust industrial performance, but are also officially approved for use in the maritime sector, providing regulatory certainty and technical confidence to integrators, engineers and critical infrastructure operators.
