Non Contact Torquemeter
At Garma Electrónica, we supply rotating torque transducers with non-contact transmission as active sensors featuring integrated measuring amplifiers, delivering advanced and highly reliable solutions for dynamic torque measurements in demanding industrial environments.
By default, they provide an analog output of ±5 V (optionally ±10 V), with digital interfaces RS485 or USB available to suit your application needs. The non-contact transmission between rotor and stator ensures maintenance-free data transfer with no signal distortion and zero mechanical wear.
Integrated speed and/or angle measurement is available as an option for nearly all our non-contact models.
Mechanically, these transducers are divided into two main categories:
- Sensors with bearings
- Bearingless sensors, perfect for higher speeds, as they eliminate any bearing friction influence on the measurement result, ensuring maximum accuracy.
For digital versions, we offer two main product groups:
- Transducers with RS485 interface, characterized by outstanding noise immunity, even over very long connection cables.
- Transducers with USB interface, enabling simple plug-and-play connection to a standard PC without the need for additional, often expensive and complex measuring amplifiers. Installation requires only the included USB driver and the provided configuration and analysis software.
Typical applications include: screw driving and tightening technologies, test bench applications for engines, gearboxes, bearings, seals, and any industrial process requiring high speeds in continuous operation, standardized output signals, and precise, reliable measurements.
