Safety sensor of machine with interlocking SM2, up to 936N force. Position control for doors in dangerous machinery.

It allows  to control the closed door position (in machine) or open door (fire), the electromagnetic sensor acts  as a safety sensor with a force that is controlled trought tension.

Comitronic has two models of safety sensor, interlocking with voltage or without voltage.

 

Technical description

  • Level of performance with AWAX controller: up to PL = e.
  • Safety category: up to 4 with AWAX controller or PLC SIL 3.
  • Time before dangerous failure: MTTFd = 100 years.
  • Maximum detection activation distance: 2 mm.
  • Holding force: up to 936 N (ref. version + OX-R) or up to 820 N (ref. version + OX-E).
  • Safety contacts/diagnostics: 2 x NO 400mA max/24V redundant and 1 x PNP 250mA.
  • Detection encoding: mono-code inviolable.
  • Reset: automatic or controlled (ref. + OP).
  • Housing mount: 4 tamper-proof M6 screws (optional ref: BH6).
  • Handle attachment: 2 M8 screws.
  • Mounting position: 1.
  • Casing material: 316L stainless steel mirror polished (OX version).
  • Suction cup material: Magnetic INOX (ref. + OX).
  • Electrical Connection: 50cm PUR cord with M12 connector.
  • Water resistance: IP 69K.
  • Temperature: -25°C to +50°C (thermal protection for suction cups in case of overheating due to a persistent command).
