The DP/PN coupler interlinks a PROFIBUS-DP network and a PROFINET network and permits data transmission between the two networks. The maximum size of the transmitted data is 244 bytes of input data and 244 bytes of output data. The DP/PN coupler is configured in the S7 software or by means of a GSD/ GSDML file.
