The FineTek SDX Optical Level Switch is an optical liquid level switch designed to detect the presence or absence of liquid in tanks, pipes, machines and industrial process equipment. Its operation is based on total light reflection in a prism: when the sensor tip is surrounded by air, the light is reflected back to the receiver; when liquid covers the prism, the light is refracted and the output switches.
With its compact design, no moving parts and built-in electronics, the SDX is a reliable solution for point level detection where fast response, low maintenance and easy integration are required.
