DA08 Differential Pressure Gauge for Filters and Ventilation | Fischer

The Fischer DA08 is a mechanical differential pressure gauge designed to measure and indicate low differential pressures in neutral, non-aggressive, dry, oil-free and grease-free gases.
Its high sensitivity enables differential-pressure measurement from 0–6 mbar up to 0–100 mbar, making it particularly suitable for air-filter monitoring, fans, ventilation systems, air ducts and primary flow elements such as Venturi nozzles.
The DA08 uses a diaphragm capsule installed inside a pressure-resistant housing. The higher pressure acts on the inside of the capsule, while the lower pressure is applied to the outside. The deformation caused by the pressure difference is mechanically transferred to the indicating pointer.
As a fully mechanical instrument, it does not require an external power supply. This makes it a reliable local indicator for quickly checking pressure loss or ventilation-system performance.
The instrument features a 100 mm analogue dial, front-accessible zero-point adjustment and IP65 ingress protection. Its silicone-free construction makes it suitable for processes where silicone contamination must be avoided.
It can be wall-mounted or installed in a control panel. A range of process connections allows adaptation to rigid tubing, flexible hoses and threaded connections.
As a Fischer distributor, Garma Electrónica recommends the DA08 for applications requiring simple, stable local indication of low differential pressure without an analogue output or electrical power supply.
The DA08 measures the pressure difference upstream and downstream of an air filter. As contamination accumulates, pressure loss increases and the pointer provides a clear visual indication of the filter condition.
This enables filters to be replaced according to their actual condition, avoiding both premature replacement and prolonged operation with an excessively contaminated filter.
Its sensitivity to low differential pressures makes it suitable for monitoring roller-band filters, prefilters and other filtration systems used in ventilation and air-treatment installations.
Differential-pressure measurement can confirm whether a fan is producing the expected pressure. An abnormal reduction or variation may indicate a malfunction, blockage, wear or change in airflow.
The Fischer DA08 can be installed in air ducts, ventilation units and air-handling equipment to display the pressure difference between two points in the system.
Because no power supply is required, it provides a simple permanent visual reference close to the monitored filter or equipment.
When combined with a Venturi nozzle or another primary flow element, the DA08 can display the differential pressure generated by airflow. This pressure difference can be used as an indirect indication of flow rate.
The gauge can compare pressure at different points in an air duct, identify pressure losses and verify the operation of dampers, grilles and ventilation components.
Its mechanical measuring principle makes it suitable for installations where no power supply is available or where a local indication independent of the automation system is preferred.
The silicone-free construction extends its suitability to industrial processes where silicone could cause contamination, affect surface finishing or conflict with production requirements.
The following application data should be defined before selecting the gauge:
